My Commitment to Your Child's Success
At Happy Minds, we offer personalized support for children from infancy through 8th grade, in person or online. Our services include tutoring in reading, writing, and elementary math, as well as support with executive functioning, attention challenges, social skills, play, and child development. We also help elementary students with science and social studies.
Whether your child is homeschooled or attends a public, private, or charter school, we tailor each session to their needs. Sessions are available throughout much of North County San Diego, including Vista, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Oceanside, San Marcos, and Escondido, as well as online. Location and service options depend on the tutor and your child’s needs.
We accept charter funds, self-determination funds, and scholarships when applicable.
We use research-informed, individualized teaching strategies, including explicit instruction, modeling, guided practice, hands-on learning, and targeted practice. Our goal is to help children grow academically, build confidence, and develop a love of learning that carries into life at home.
Happy Minds was founded by a credentialed teacher with a master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education. As our team grows, we’ll match each family with a tutor whose experience and approach fit their child. You’ll always know who your child will be working with.
